Minn Kota X16 CHO VX GPS/Fishfinder Control Head delivers a detailed view of fish, structure, depth, and chart information through a high-resolution 15.6-inch color touchscreen with keypad control. The display is engineered for use with polarized eyewear and remains easy to read in rain and high sun. This control-head-only model does not include a transducer, allowing connection to compatible Minn Kota trolling motors with built-in sonar, accessory transducers, live sonar, or networked Minn Kota and Humminbird fish finders.
Powered by Humminbird Imaging, the X16 supports Dual Spectrum CHIRP, MEGA Down Imaging+, and MEGA Side Imaging+. Supported sonar frequencies include 50, 83, 200, 455, and 800 kHz, along with DSC CHIRP and MEGA. Down Imaging reaches up to 400 feet at 455 kHz and 200 feet with MEGA, while Side Imaging provides ranges up to 800 feet side-to-side at 455 kHz and 400 feet with MEGA, based on the stated operating modes.
Built-in NMEA 2000, Bluetooth, Ethernet, and Wi-Fi connectivity helps integrate the fishfinder with compatible Minn Kota system components. Draw and Navigate lets you create an on-screen course for the trolling motor to follow, while Intelligent Depth Control can alert you to shallow water and, when necessary, automatically engage Spot-Lock and deploy compatible shallow water anchors. The Minn Kota Fishing App supports waypoint management, system control, and sharing of captured sonar views.
