Professional Application Tips

• Pad Choice: For maximum defect removal, use a twisted wool pad on a rotary polisher. For a more controlled cut on softer clear coats, use a heavy-duty maroon or green foam cutting pad.

• Prime the Pad: When starting with a fresh pad, apply a "X" of compound across the face to ensure even saturation. For subsequent sections, only 3–4 pea-sized drops are needed.

• Machine Speed: Operate your rotary polisher between 1200 and 1800 RPM. Avoid excessive pressure; let the abrasives and the speed of the machine do the work.

• The "Follow-Up": Because this is a heavy-cut compound, it may leave slight "hazing" or "holograms" on dark colors. Follow this step with Malco Tru-Polish to bring out a mirror-like, swirl-free finish.
