Maintenance & Installation Best Practices

• Bleeding Position: Verify the bleeder screw is situated at the top of the caliper body once mounted. Trapped air rises to the top, ensuring a firm brake pedal/actuator response when bled.
  
  
• Hardware & Torque: Inspect caliper mounting slides and bracket bolts during replacement. Torque mounting bolts to 40–50 ft-lbs using medium-strength threadlocker.
  
  
• Axle Balance: When replacing a caliper due to corrosion or piston failure, inspect the right-side caliper (4265.49K) and replace in pairs to maintain even braking pressure across the axle.
