Installation Tip: When mounting the upper hinge of the actuator to the transom, verify that you have a minimum of 14 inches of vertical clearance on your transom from the bottom of the hull. Use a generous amount of marine-grade polyurethane sealant in all screw holes to prevent transom rot.
