Installation & Usage Tips

No Switch Included: This model is the actuator only. If you are doing a new installation, you will need to purchase a Lenco Single Rocker Switch (#15096-001) or Dual Rocker Switch (#15098-001).

Mounting Angle: For maximum power, the lift should be installed as close to 90° (vertical) as possible., Lifting capacity decreases significantly if the mounting angle is less than 45° when retracted.

Emergency Access: In the event of a total power failure, the kit includes stainless steel pull pins.11 It is highly recommended to rig these pins with a lanyard to a point outside the hatch so you can manually release the lift to gain access.
Important Installation Note: For optimal power, install the actuator as close to 90° as possible. To prevent damage, ensure the hatch does not bottom out before the lift is fully retracted; shimming may be required for a perfect fit.
