Installation & Maintenance Tips

• Mounting Height: When installing on a bulkhead, ensure there is enough vertical clearance above the rack so that your longest rods don't hit the T-top or cabin ceiling when being removed.

• Solid Backing: If mounting to a thin fiberglass bulkhead, use fender washers or a backing plate on the opposite side to distribute the load, especially if you plan to store heavy offshore trolling setups.

• Cleaning: To maintain the "Brushed" look of the aluminum, rinse with fresh water after every trip. Occasionally apply a light coat of corrosion inhibitor (like Woody Wax) to the aluminum frame to keep salt from pitting the finish.
