Since the GX1410W does not have a built-in GPS, its Distress Button will not transmit your coordinates unless it is connected to a GPS source. You will need to connect the NMEA 0183 (Green and Blue wires) from the radio's pigtail to the "NMEA Out" of your GPS unit.
