The RF28109HL is the High Load (HHL) version of Ronstan's Series 25 Orbit Block. It features a Grade 2205 stainless steel sheave and bearing race with Grade 304 stainless steel ball bearings, making it especially well suited for demanding performance and foiling applications where small-diameter lines are subjected to substantial loads. 

Ronstan's 2-stage ball bearing system promotes smooth, efficient line movement under load. The block accommodates control lines up to 8mm (5/16") in diameter, while its lashing head accepts lashing line up to 4mm (5/32"). A hollow stainless steel hub also provides a convenient becket take-off option, increasing versatility in complex rigging systems. 

Despite weighing just 1.2 oz. (34g), the RF28109HL delivers a maximum working load of 880 lbs. (400kg) and a breaking load of 2,650 lbs. (1,200kg). Important Load Note

Maximum working load and breaking load are dependent on the strength of the line used to lash the block through its central hub. Knots, splices, and stitching can have a lower breaking strength than the lashing line itself and should be considered when designing the rigging system.
