Product as advertised

Way overdue replacement of my OEM 1995 detector. Installed easily and appears to be working properly. Glad to get the original replaced with current technology.

Poor Quality Control

I do NOT recommend. These newly dated CO detectors have the face writing printed (defect) so lightly that they can barely be read. EXACT same model that I have that is now out of date, 5 years old, has writing after 5 years that is at LEAST twice as dark a readable. If the quality control at MTI (Safe-T-Alert) is SO poor that they pass unreadable printing that includes IMPORTANT user instructions, how can one assume that the device was even tested at ALL. Giant FAIL for MTI Sate-T-Alert.
