A: The Rule-Mate sensor checks for water resistance against the impeller. If oil or fuel covers the sensor, the pump will refrain from continuous running, switching to a 2.5-minute safety cycle to prevent pumping oil overboard until the bilge is cleaned.
Q: Can I use a 1-1/8" hose with this pump?
A: Yes! The pump includes interchangeable stepped port fittings for both 1-inch and 1-1/8-inch inner diameter (ID) marine bilge hoses.
