Pacer Group

(975 products)

Pacer Group is a premier U.S. manufacturer of marine-grade wire and cable, specifically engineered to withstand the harsh conditions of the saltwater environment.1 Based in Sarasota, Florida, they produce over 9,000 products that are the preferred choice for major boat builders (OEMs) and repair professionals.

Marine-Grade Wire & Cable

Pacer's wire is built using tinned copper, which provides superior resistance to corrosion compared to standard bare copper wire.

  • Primary Marine Wire: This is a single-conductor, finely stranded wire available in gauges from 18 AWG to 8 AWG. It features a proprietary PVC jacket that is resistant to oil, gasoline, acid, and moisture.

  • Marine Battery Cable: Designed for high-amperage applications like engine starters and battery banks, this cable ranges from 6 AWG to 4/0 AWG. It is extremely flexible, making it easier to route through tight hulls.

  • Duplex & Triplex Boat Cable: These multi-conductor cables are used for AC and DC power distribution. Duplex (2 conductors) and Triplex (3 conductors) are encased in a secondary white jacket for added protection and organization.

Electrical Components & Accessories

Beyond wire, Pacer provides a comprehensive ecosystem of components to complete any marine electrical project.

  • Heat Shrink Terminals & Connectors: These terminals feature an adhesive-lined sleeve that, when heated, creates a watertight seal around the wire connection, preventing salt air from corroding the conductor.

  • Wire Management Solutions: This category includes UV-resistant nylon C-clamps, split conduit, and braided sleeving to keep your wiring neat, secure, and protected from abrasion.

  • Custom Switch Panels: Pacer is well-known for engineering OEM-quality dash panels and actuator switches, often seen on high-end center consoles and sportfishers.

Why Choose Pacer Group?

  • Corrosion Resistance: Every strand of copper is tin-plated, essential for long-term reliability in marine settings.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Their products meet or exceed UL, ABYC, and USCG standards.

  • Extreme Flexibility: High strand counts make their cables much easier to handle and less likely to crack under the constant vibration of a boat.
