Installation & Maintenance Tips

• Hand-Tight Only: When installing the adapter into your Mercury's flush port, tighten it by hand. Over-tightening with a wrench can damage the threads on the engine's plastic cooling shroud.

• Saltwater Rinse: Even though it's a flush port, give the exterior of the quick-connect a quick spray with fresh water after use to keep the sliding sleeve moving freely.
