Installation & Wiring Tips

• Shaft Alignment: When drilling your mounting hole, ensure the motor is perfectly perpendicular to the glass. An angled shaft can cause the wiper blade to "skip" or apply uneven pressure, leading to streaks.

• Wiring the 2-Speed Switch: This motor requires a specific 3-position wiper switch (Off-Low-High) to function correctly. Ensure you use marine-grade 14 or 16 AWG wire to prevent voltage drop over long runs.

• Seal the Penetration: Use the included rubber gaskets, but also apply a small dab of marine-grade silicone sealant around the shaft base on the exterior to ensure a 100% watertight seal.

• Arm Compatibility: This motor features a standard 13.75mm knurled shaft, compatible with most Schmitt Marine and standard pantograph or radial wiper arms.
