Plug and Play. Best Price. No taxes paid made it an Awesome Price!!!!!

Works great with my two Solix Chart Plotters. I already was using the ethernet switch so connecting the wires was very easy. I had an unused switch in the dash, so power to the switch and I grounded the other, were the only two wires that needed to be crimped.
I installed it on the t-top. The hardest part was figuring out the the angle of the t-top when boat was level. Then adding 2- 5 degrees, and making spacers. The unit uses 8mm bolts to mount. I needed 65mm and 70mm long bolts. The hardware store didn't have 70mm long stainless steel bolts so I had to use zinc until I could acquire and replace them. This is my first radar and I only been out on the water once since installing it. You need to download the operating manual for Helix. they don't have one marked Solix. It will take some time getting used to it, but now I will feel safer at night, if bad weather rolls in and getting off the dock not having to wait for the fog to lift. It all means more time on the water.
