"Since this toilet draws 16 Amps, it is sensitive to voltage drop. If your batteries are far from the head, use 10 AWG or even 8 AWG wire to ensure the motor spins at full RPM. A slow-spinning motor won't macerate effectively and is the leading cause of clogs in the discharge line. Also, remember that this model uses raw water; if you want to use onboard fresh water, you must install a solenoid valve to protect your potable water supply from contamination."
