4" Spun Silver Tachometer with Hourmeter 6000 RPM - Gas - Inboard

Electronic tachometers work by counting pulses generated by the ingition system, alternator, tach signal generator or magnetic pickup sender. The tach is hooked up to +12VDC, Ground and one of the signal sources listed above.

By selecting the right tach and setting the switch on the back to the correct postion you let the tachometer know how many pulses are sent per each engine revolution.

Thanks for stiffing me with the shipping

Absolutely nothing bad to say about Faria, theyre awesome. I needed a Tach that was 4 inside diameter from chrome bezel because my two largest gages are the tach and speedo. Since 4 is the largest they make, thats what I ordered. The one I received was 3.75 inside diameter, not 4, so no bueno on the size. I called to make a return, which went smooth, and I told them, You sent me the wrong size, I needed a 4 and I got a 3.75 instead. No problem. I got the form in the email and went to UPS to send it back, and they wrote on the form customer bought wrong size, and stiffed me for the shipping when it was their mistake. Thanks, really appreciated that one. I just going to send my gage back to Faria to repair it at the end of the summer instead. Ill take my business elsewhere.
