Critical Pre-Installation Checks

Pro-Tip: Plumbing Direction

The pump housing has a molded arrow indicating the direction of flow. Before finalizing your hose runs, double-check that your "Suction" line is attached to the center port and your "Discharge" line is attached to the tangential port (the one pointing to the side).

Installation Guidelines

• Priming: Note that this is a centrifugal pump, not self-priming. It must be mounted below the liquid level (flooded suction) or manually primed before use.

• Orientation: The pump should be mounted horizontally or vertically with the motor head above the pump body to prevent air pockets from forming in the impeller chamber.

• Wiring: Use 16 AWG marine-grade wire for runs up to 10 feet. Always use a fuse (3A recommended) to protect the brushless motor.
