Installation & Usage Tips

• Socket Placement: Mount the deck socket in a location where it stays relatively protected from direct waves but remains accessible to the windlass area.

• Electrical Connection: This remote must be wired to your windlass contactor/solenoid, not directly to the motor. Always use a fuse or circuit breaker as recommended in the manual.

• Maintenance: Periodically apply a small amount of dielectric grease to the pins of the deck socket to prevent corrosion and ensure a solid electrical connection.
